Unified Multi-Platform Golf Management Ecosystem
Built a multi-platform ecosystem with native mobile apps for golfers and comprehensive web applications for clubs, societies, and companies to manage tournaments, teams, and commerce.
Advanced Scoring & Real-Time Tournament Engine
Developed sophisticated scoring engines supporting six game formats (Stableford, Strokeplay, Matchplay, Multirounds, Texas Scramble) with flexible handicap selection, custom start holes, and real-time leaderboard calculations.
Data-Driven Handicap & Performance Analytics
Created an advanced data science layer that analyses player performance across all scorecards and tournaments to automatically calculate adjusted handicaps and provide detailed game statistics.
Integrated Social & Community Engagement Platform
Implemented a rich social networking infrastructure with Instagram-style live bars, WhatsApp-like group chat, full-text search across users and organisations, and seamless sharing capabilities to external platforms.
What we did?
Engineered gaming console-inspired stat tracking interfaces allowing players to log detailed metrics including fairways hit, greens in regulation, putts, strokes, and pick-ups with intuitive mobile-first design.
Developed real-time tournament management systems enabling clubs to create events, manage entries, process payments, oversee teams, and monitor live leaderboards whilst participants log scores simultaneously.
Built comprehensive e-commerce functionality allowing users to purchase merchandise, book lessons, reserve tee times, and redeem vouchers directly through the platform with integrated payment processing.
Implemented social engagement features including personal walls, media feeds with images/videos/polls, one-to-one and group messaging, follow mechanisms for players and clubs, and BirdieTime.tv integration.
Created role-based access control supporting five distinct user types (Golfers, Pro-Am, Clubs, Societies, Companies, Admins) with tailored mobile and web experiences for each persona.
Deployed advanced full-text search capabilities enabling instant discovery of users, clubs, societies, and companies with granular notification preference controls.
